Being a member means finding new friendships, making connections and developing new skills.
PRN is a member-run organization that provides no-fee workshops, access to computers, copiers, and other resources to help with your professional job search.
Members meet in an office-like atmosphere allowing each person to stay connected and active during what can otherwise be a lonely and difficult time.
Dynamic resources are available to professionals involved in searching for new work opportunities.
Through no-fee workshops members are able to:
Volunteer Opportunities
Members are able to choose from a number of volunteer opportunities including front desk and telephone coverage, and making presentations to local organizations, meeting with other members to provide peer coaching and resume reviews, facilitating workshops and running PRN departments. Each member volunteers a minimum of 16 hours per month with credit given for attending the weekly general and departmental meetings. Through the volunteer work, members are able to share job leads, contacts, and contribute to the direction of the group.
Moving On
Members who become employed and move on from PRN complete a Status Change Form that allows them to become informational contacts and job referrals for current PRN members.
